Bimal Bose
Bimal Krishna Bose (16 June 1918 – 20 May 1996) was an Indian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Bihar from 1940 to 1963, captaining the team from 1953–54 to 1957–58. His elder brother was famous revolutionary Benoy Basu. Early career Bimal Bose made his first-class debut for Bihar in the 1940–41 season as a left-arm medium-paced opening bowler, and was seldom out of the team for the next 23 seasons. He batted low in the order, and made his highest score of 66 against Bengal in his second match. Bihar needed 264 to take the first-innings lead, which in a drawn match, as this one seemed likely to be, effectively counted as a victory. Bose went in at 149 for seven, and was last man out, caught on the boundary going for the six that would have taken Bihar into the lead. Delhi Cricket Team
The Delhi cricket team is a first-class cricket team based in Delhi, run by the Delhi District Cricket Association, that plays in India's first class competition, the Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. They have won the Ranji Trophy seven times and have been runners-up eight. Their latest title in 2007-08 came after a long wait of 16 years. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Keenan Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium and an International Cricket Stadium in Jamshedpur, India. It is currently used mostly for cricket and football matches. Karnataka cricket team represents the Indian state of Karnataka in domestic cricket competitions. The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. The National Sports Council of Assam Ground, also known as the National Sports Council of Assam Stadium, is a former first-class cricket ground in Jorhat, Assam. The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association. Shute Banerjee
Sarobindu Nath "Shute" Banerjee (3 October 1911 – 14 October 1980) was a cricketer who represented India in one official and five unofficial Test matches. He was right-arm medium pace bowler and a lower order batsman. Cricketing career Banerjee made his debut in first class cricket at the age of nineteen and played for an "Indians and Anglo-Indians in Bengal" team against the touring MCC in 1933–34. He took 5 for 53 for a joint Bengal and Assam side against Jack Ryder's Australian team in 1935–36 following which he was selected for the third unofficial test against the same side (which made him miss the first ever Ranji Trophy match for Bengal) and the team to tour England in 1936. The presence of the fast bowlers Mohammad Nissar, Amar Singh and Jahangir Khan meant that Banerjee did not play in any of the Test matches.
