Billy McNulty
William George McNulty (born 9 February 1949) is a Scottish former football goalkeeper. He played a total of eight league games between 1966 and 1970, one each for Port Vale and Berwick Rangers, and six for Chesterfield. Career McNulty graduated through the juniors to sign professional forms with Port Vale in April 1966. Manager Jackie Mudie handed him his Fourth Division debut in a 2–0 defeat by Aldershot at Vale Park on 22 April 1967. He did not feature again for the "Valiants", and was given a free transfer to Chesterfield in May 1968. He played six Fourth Division games for the "Spireites" in 1968–69, before manager Jimmy McGuigan allowed him to leave Saltergate. Scottish Football League Second Division
The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two). The effect of the reconstruction was to split these two divisions into three, with the top flight named the Premier Division, second tier the First Division, and a new third tier was created known as the Second Division. A fourth tier, known as the Third Division, was created in 1994. In 1998, the Premier Division clubs broke away from the SFL to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL). The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. Shielfield Park
Shielfield Park is a football stadium that is home to Berwick Rangers and Berwick Bandits speedway team. Although Berwick Rangers is a Scottish Lowland Football League club, Shielfield Park is situated in the English county of Northumberland. History There has been a ground at Shielfield Park, named after land owned by local butcher William Shiel Dods, since 1890. Berwick Rangers played at a number of other sites in Berwick, including a ground adjacent to the present site at Shielfield. Berwick Rangers first entered the Scottish Football League in 1951.
