Billy Bowman Jr.
Billy Bowman Jr. (born January 29, 2003) is an American football Safety (gridiron football position), safety for the Oklahoma Sooners football, Oklahoma Sooners. Early life and high school Bowman Jr. attended Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. He played defensive back and wide receiver in high school. As a senior, he had 86 receptions for 1,207 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was selected to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-America Game. Bowman Jr. originally committed to play college football at the Texas Longhorns football, University of Texas at Austin before switching to the Oklahoma Sooners football, University of Oklahoma. College career As a true freshman at Oklahoma in 2021, Bowman Jr. started seven of 11 games and had 22 tackles. Jayda Coleman (born September 27, 2001) is an American college softball player for the Oklahoma Sooners. She also represented the United States at the 2019 U-19 Women's Softball World Cup and USA Softball International Cup. High school career Coleman attended The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas. During her high school career she was a six-time All-State honoree and three-time All-American. During the 2017 season, she hit .653 with 12 home runs and 81 hits in 40 games, and she led the Dallas-Fort Worth area with 74 runs scored and 53 stolen bases as The Colony won the Class 5A state championship. Following the season she was named MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year. During her senior year, she batted .717 with 42 runs scored, 41 steals, 29 RBI and 10 triples. The Oklahoma Sooners softball team represents the University of Oklahoma in NCAA Division I College softball. The team competes in the Big 12 Conference, and plays its home games at OU Softball Complex in Norman, Oklahoma. The Sooners are currently led by head coach Patty Gasso. The Under Armour High School All-America Game is a high school football all-star game typically held in early January in the U.S. state of Florida created to spotlight the nation’s top high school seniors. The game was first played on January 5, 2008, and has been played annually at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida or at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The game is sponsored by Under Armour and enjoys a national audience thanks to broadcast partner ESPN (the first edition was broadcast on ABC opposite the U.S. Army All-American Bowl).
