''Billu'', previously known as ''Billu Barber'', is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film by Priyadarshan, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and distributed by Eros International, with an adapted screenplay by Manisha Korde and Mushtaq Sheikh based on the script by Sreenivasan. It stars Irrfan Khan as the title character and Lara Dutta in lead roles with Om Puri, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles. Shah Rukh Khan makes an extended guest appearance. Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, make special appearances in songs. The film was released on 13 February 2009 worldwide. Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu.
