Billie McKay
Billie McKay (born 11 July 1991) is an Australian cook, known for winning the seventh and fourteenth series of MasterChef Australia. Early life McKay was raised on a dairy farm in Bowraville, New South Wales and attended Macksville High School. Prior to competing on ''MasterChef'', she was a restaurant manager in Ballina, New South Wales. Career She is best known as the winner of the seventh series of ''MasterChef Australia''. Her prizes included $250,000, an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, and a monthly column in ''Delicious.'', an Australian food magazine. Following the final, guest judge Heston Blumenthal offered her a job at his restaurant The Fat Duck, which she accepted. Bowraville
Bowraville is a small town in the Mid North Coast hinterland of New South Wales, Australia in the Nambucca Valley. The town is known for tourism with attractions such as a folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. The Fat Duck
The Fat Duck is a fine dining restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, England. It is run by celebrity chef proprietor Heston Blumenthal. Housed in a 16th-century building that had previously been the site of the Bell pub, the Fat Duck opened on 16 August 1995. Although it originally served food similar to that of a French bistro, it soon acquired a reputation for precision and invention, and has been at the forefront of many modern culinary developments, such as food pairing, flavour encapsulation and multi-sensory cooking. Sarah Todd is an Australian celebrity chef, model, restaurateur, and cookbook author. She first earned recognition after appearing on '' MasterChef Australia'' in 2014. Career Todd trained at Le Cordon Bleu, London. She competed on the sixth season of ''MasterChef Australia'' in 2014. Poh Ling Yeow (; born 1973) is a Malaysian-born Australian cook, artist, actress, author and television presenter. Early life and history Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, into a fifth-generation Malaysian Chinese family, and her mother is of Hakka descent. Yeow attended SMK Convent Bukit Nanas. She immigrated to Australia at age 9 with her parents and brother, eventually settling in Adelaide, South Australia.
