Bill Tabb is a retired American professional wrestler, known by his ringname The Black Assassin, who competed in North American regional promotions including the American Wrestling Alliance and National Wrestling Alliance, specifically Florida Championship Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions during the 1980s. Career Jim Crockett Promotions Making his professional debut in 1985, Big Bill Tabb began appearing on Championship Wrestling from Georgia facing Ron Bass on January 1, 1986 as well as teaming with Lee Peek against Baron von Raschke & Shaska Whatley and faced Magnum T. A., Tully Blanchard, Tim Horner and Jimmy Valiant in singles matches. William Barksdale Tabb
William Barksdale Tabb (September 11, 1840 – December 4, 1874) was an American lawyer and military officer in the Confederate States Army. Biography Tabb graduated from both Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and the University of Virginia, and thereafter practiced law. During the Civil War, Tabb first served as a captain on the staff of General Henry A. Wise. On November 1, 1862, Tabb was promoted to colonel of the 59th Virginia Infantry. He was the commander of his regiment and is mainly known for being in the Battle of Sayler's Creek in which the Confederate States sustained over 7,000 casualties. On May 9, 1873, Tabb served as a second in a duel in Richmond, Virginia, involving pistols, during which both principals—John B. Mordecai and W. Page McCarthy—were injured. The two principals and four seconds, one being Tabb, were subsequently arrested. Martin Anthony Lunde (born September 20, 1958), better known by the ring name Arn Anderson, is an American professional wrestling road agent, author, and retired professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a manager. Kevin Francis Sullivan (born October 26, 1949) is an American professional wrestler and booker, perhaps best known for his role in World Championship Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Early career (1970–1982) Sullivan had been an amateur wrestler in the Boston area, and was not trained professionally. His first professional match was in Montreal, beating Fernand Frechette. Michael Davis (born November 1, 1945), best known as Bugsy McGraw, is a retired American professional wrestler. He also wrestled under the name The Skull. Robert Deroy Windham (November 25, 1942 – April 7, 2016), better known by his ring name Blackjack Mulligan, was an American professional wrestler and American football player. He was the father of wrestlers Barry and Kendall Windham, father-in-law of Mike Rotunda, and the maternal grandfather of Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. The Midnight Express (professional Wrestling)
The Midnight Express was the name used by several professional wrestling tag teams of changing members, usually under the management of Jim Cornette. The group started in 1980 with Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose in Southeast Championship Wrestling. In 1981 they were joined by Norvell Austin. This group disbanded in 1983, but later the same year a new version of the Midnight Express was formed in Mid-South Wrestling by teaming up Condrey and Bobby Eaton, with Cornette as their manager. After leaving Mid-South, the Midnight Express competed briefly in WCCW (Dallas) before moving on to Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP). Condrey left in 1987, and was replaced by Stan Lane. Eaton and Lane (still managed by Cornette) competed in JCP and WCW, where they briefly feuded with "The Original Midnight Express" of Condrey and Rose (managed by Paul E. Dangerously).
