Bill Switaj
Bill Switaj is an American ice hockey former player and head coach and current director of the Kent State University Ice Arena. Career Switaj began attending Boston College in the fall of 1979 and eventually worked his way onto the team as a walk-on. After graduating in 1983 he made his way into the coaching ranks, finding a position at Rensselaer as a goalie coach before landing in West Point as an assistant under Rob Riley. Two years later he accepted the head coaching position at Kent State Kent State University (KSU) is a public research university in Kent, Ohio. Bay Village, Ohio
Bay Village is a city in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. Located along the southern shore of Lake Erie, the city is a western suburb of Cleveland and a part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. The population was 16,163 at the 2020 census. History Before the first European-Americans arrived in the area around 1600, Erie Indians lived in Bay Village and the surrounding areas. The most important Indian trail in Ohio is present-day Lake Road, which is a main road in Bay Village. Central Collegiate Hockey Association
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) is a college athletic conference that participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The current CCHA began play in the 2021–22 season; a previous incarnation, which the current CCHA recognizes as part of its history, existed from 1971 to 2013. Half of its members are located in the state of Michigan, with additional members in Minnesota and Ohio. It has also had teams located in Alaska, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Nebraska over the course of its existence.
