High school career Schultz prepped at Kennedy High School in Granada Hills. College career Schultz played his first 2 years for Glendale Community College (California). Bill Schultz is an animation producer. He was born in New York City and grew up in River Forest, a suburb near Chicago, Illinois, moving to Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Illinois Champaign - Urbana Campus. He has worked on television shows such as ''Jim Henson's Muppet Babies'', '' The Transformers'', and produced others, notably ''The Simpsons and'' ''King of the Hill'' and now the founder and CEO of Home Plate Entertainment. Schultz started Home Plate Entertainment in 2010, after stepping down from his 12-year partnership with Splash Entertainment. Career His first job in LA found him working for Capitol Records, which after 9 months he left to work with an independent film producer, and then to work as a production assistant and production staffer on several low budget live action feature films. William Charles Schultz (July 30, 1926 – September 21, 2006) was the CEO of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, and is credited as the "man who saved Fender." Biography Born at McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Schultz graduated as an engineer from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1965 and went to work for Bethlehem Steel, Baltimore. While working at Bendix Aerospace on radar tracking devices for the Apollo program, he got a master's in aerospace engineering. In 1971 he received an MBA from Rutgers University and got a job at CBS. Schultz worked at Yamaha Corporation when he was asked to become the company president of Fender in 1981 by then-president of CBS Musical Instruments, John C. McLaren. When CBS decided to sell the struggling company in 1985, Schultz and several other employees purchased it. Bill 'Changa' Schultz (1891-1975) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1910s and 1920s. An Australia national and New South Wales state representative prop forward, he played his club football in Sydney for Balmain, with whom he won six premierships between 1915 and 1924. Playing career Of German and Irish descent, Schultz was a Balmain junior who also played Australian Rules football at the local Christian Brothers with another future Balmain champion, Charles ‘Chook’ Fraser. Balmain went through the 1915 NSWRFL season undefeated, and Schultz tasted his first premiership success with the club. The following year he played for Balmain at prop forward in the 1916 NSWRFL season's premiership final victory against South Sydney. He again won the premiership with Balmain in the 1917 NSWRFL season.
