Bill McGovern (American Football)
Bill McGovern is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the UCLA Bruins. Playing career McGovern played college football at Holy Cross where he was a four-year starter at defensive back. He set a career NCAA Division I-AA record with 24 interceptions. In 1984, during his senior year, he was named a consensus first team Division I-AA All-American. Coaching career It was announced on February 8, 2013, that McGovern had been hired by the Philadelphia Eagles as their outside linebackers coach. He previously served as the defensive coordinator for Boston College for four years, a promotion after serving as linebackers coach for nine years before that. Mark Herzlich Jr. (born September 1, 1987) is a former American football linebacker and current sports commentator. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and played all seven seasons of his professional career with the Giants. He played college football at Boston College. Charles Edward Kelly (born November 25, 1963) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the UCLA Bruins. He came to prominence as the head coach of the Oregon Ducks from 2009 to 2012, whom he led to four consecutive BCS bowl game appearances, including the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. Matthew Nagy ( or ; born April 24, 1978) is an American football coach, and former arena football quarterback, who is the senior assistant and quarterbacks coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). Massachusetts Minutemen Football
The UMass Minutemen football team represents the University of Massachusetts in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Massachusetts is the fourth oldest program in FBS. The Minutemen compete as an FBS independent. Since 1965, their home games have been played at Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium on the university's campus in Hadley, Massachusetts. UMass began play in 1879 and have since appeared in three FCS National Championship games, winning the title in 1998.
