Bill Lueck
William Lueck (born April 7, 1946) is a former guard in the National Football League who played 98 games for the Green Bay Packers and eleven games for the Philadelphia Eagles. Lueck was the 26th overall pick of the 1968 NFL/AFL Draft out of the University of Arizona, played eight seasons in the NFL, and retired prior to the season. The 1969 Green Bay Packers season was their 51st season overall and their 49th season in the National Football League. The team finished with an 8–6 record under coach Phil Bengtson, earning them a 3rd-place finish in the Central division. The Glory Was Gone Without the disciplined guidance of Vince Lombardi steering the Packers for the first time in a decade, Green Bay started the season strong at 5–2 but stumbled down the stretch. Plagued by injuries and inconsistent play, the team clawed their way to their 10th winning season in the last 11 years. The Green Bay Packers season was their 50th season overall and the 48th season in the National Football League. Under first-year head coach Phil Bengtson, the team finished with a 6–7–1 record, third place in the four-team Central Division of the Western Conference. It was the Packers' first losing season in a decade, and marked a turning point in team history, starting a long period of futility and decline known as the "Gory Years". From 1968 through 1991, Green Bay had only five winning seasons (1969, 1972, 1978, 1982, 1989), made the playoffs twice (1972, 1982), with one win (1982). Jerry Kramer
Gerald Louis Kramer (born January 23, 1936) is a former professional American football player, author and sports commentator, best remembered for his 11-year National Football League (NFL) career with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive lineman. As a , right guard, Kramer was an integral part of the famous Packers sweep, a signature play in which both guards rapidly pull out from their normal positions and lead block for the running back going around the end. Kramer was an All-Pro five times, and a member of the National Football League 50th Anniversary All-Time Team in . Before his election into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018 at age 82, Kramer was noted for being a finalist for the Hall ten times without being voted in.
