Bill Friend (politician)
William C. Friend (born July 14, 1949) is an American politician who served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from 1992 to 2018. In January 2018, Friend announced that he would not be running for reelection. Education Friend graduated from North Miami High School in 1967. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Indianapolis. Career He previously served as Allen Township Trustee/Assessor, a member of the Miami County Council, and Miami County Auditor. The Indiana House of Representatives is the lower house of the Indiana General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Indiana. The House is composed of 100 members representing an equal number of constituent districts. House members serve two-year terms without term limits. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, each State House district contains an average of 64,838 people. The House convenes at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis. Macy, Indiana
Macy is a town in Allen Township, Miami County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 199 at the 2020 census. History Macy was laid out in 1860 at the time the railroad arrived in the neighborhood. The community was originally known as "Lincoln", but when it was discovered that there was already another Lincoln in Cass County, the name was changed in order to prevent confusion in the mail system. The namesake of Macy was David Macy, president of the Indianapolis, Peru and Chicago Railway. The post office at Macy has been in operation since 1880. North Miami Senior High School (NMSHS) is a public high school in North Miami, Florida, United States. Located at 13110 NE 8th Avenue, The school opened as Edward L. Constance Junior-Senior High School in 1951; with 1,500 students in 7th, 8th and 9th grades. Another grade was added each year for the next three years.
