Bilal Khan ( ur, , born Bilal Ahmed Khan, 4 October 1986) is a Pakistani musician, actor, and YouTuber. He released his debut album ''Umeed'' in 2009. Singles released included "Bachana", "Tou Kia Hua", "Larho Mujhey", "Kabhi Gham Na Aey", and ''Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu''. In 2012, he has been nominated for Best Album at the 11th Lux Style Awards for the album "Umeed". Khan holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Politics and Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and later studied from Virginia Commonwealth University. Quratulain Balouch ( ur, ) is a Pakistani American singer-songwriter. Also known as QB or the Humsafar Girl, she became popular for her title track " Woh Humsafar Tha" in Hum TV's serial '' Humsafar''. Career Balouch has no formal music education. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 11)
The eleventh season of Pakistani music television series '' Coke Studio'', titled as Coke Studio: The Sound of Nation, premiered in Pakistan on 10 August 2018. Musicians Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi were announced as a new producers and directors for the series, after Strings stepped down from the role to pursue their own music. The series was produced under Kazi and Hamza's production company Front Foot Media and was distributed by The Coca-Cola Company Pakistan. As a part of new module, Kazi and Hamza created a spin-off series ''Coke Studio Explorer'' which was released on 3 July 2018 and featured regional but largely unknown artists across the country where their performances were recorded live. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 4)
The fourth season of the Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio'' commenced airing on 22 May 2011 and ended on 17 July 2011. Rohail Hyatt and his wife Umber Hyatt remained as the producers of the show. The houseband recruited drummer Raheel Manzar Paul and vocalist Rachel Viccaji. The houseband saw Sanam Saeed and Saba Shabbir leaving the band and the rest of the houseband remained unchanged. Alamgir (pop Singer)
Alamgir Haq, usually referred to as just Alamgir ( ur, ); born 11 August 1955), is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, guitarist, and one of the pioneers of pop music in Pakistan. His style of singing is inspired by playback singer Ahmed Rushdi and Elvis Presley. Early life Alamgir was born on 11 August 1955 in East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh). His father, Farmuzal Haq, was a politician and a member of the All India Muslim League as Secretary of Treasury and later a member of Pakistan's National Assembly during the presidency of Ayub Khan. Strings (band)
Strings () was a Pakistani pop/rock band composed of two members, plus four live band members from Karachi, Pakistan. The band was initially formed by four college students—Bilal Maqsood (vocals and guitars), Faisal Kapadia (vocals), Rafiq Wazir Ali (synthesizer) and Kareem Bashir Bhoy (bass guitar)—in 1988. In 1992 the quartet disbanded, only to make a comeback with Maqsood and Kapadia in 2000. While the initial band rode the new wave of Pakistani pop music, the later lineup ushered a revival in the Music of Pakistan, Pakistani music industry. In 1990 the band signed with EMI Records and released their debut album, ''Strings (Strings album), Strings''. Their initial experiments with synthesized sounds and rhythms were not immediately recognised, although ''Strings'' sold 20,000 copies during its first week after release.
