Bijaya Kumar Maurya
Bijaya Kumar Maurya is an Indian Police Services officer. He is currently serving as the Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police's Home Guards wing. He is a 1990 batch IPS officer, who has previously served as Additional Director General (logistics) in the Uttar Pradesh Police as well. Maurya was given additional charge of Director General (Home Guards) in August 2022, while he was serving as Director General logistics . Biography Maurya is an alumnus of Harvard University. He is the first police officer from Uttar Pradesh, who has completed Masters in Policy Management from Harvard University of United States. While serving as Additional Director General for the Railways, he was awarded by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Chandan Kumar Kushwaha is an IPS officer, serving in Bihar. He has previously served as Superintendent of Police (SP) for Bihar's capital city Patna. Kushwaha was later transferred to Banka district as Superintendent of Police. Before being appointed as city SP of Patna, he was serving as SP for the Rohtas district. Indo-Tibetan Border Police
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is a border patrol organization of India deployed along its borders with Tibet Autonomous Region. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces, established in 1962 in the aftermath of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. In September 1996, the Parliament of India enacted the "Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992" to "provide for the constitution and regulation" of the ITBP "for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith".
