''Big Bang Vol. 1 – Since 2007'' is the debut studio album by South Korean boy band Big Bang, released on December 22, 2006 through YG Entertainment. The album debuted at number three on the old monthly album charts in South Korea in December 2006, moving 33,000 units in its first month. It went on to sell over 110,000 copies in total. Four singles were released to support of the album including three single albums: "Big Bang", " Big Bang Is V.I.P", "Big Bang 03", and "Dirty Cash". Members of the group participated in penning lyrics to their songs. Background BigBang was the first idol group formed by YG Entertainment, whose previous roster included hip hop groups Jinusean and 1TYM. The quintet held their official debut on August 19, 2006 at the Gymnastics Arena in Seoul Olympic Park during the YG Family 10th Year Concert, which was broadcast the following month. Big Bang (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of four members: G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019. Between August 1998 and September 2008, the Recording Industry Association of Korea (RIAK) and the Music Industry Association of Korea (MIAK) published a monthly record chart, ranking the best-selling CDs and cassettes within South Korea. At least 100 albums and two singles have topped the chart during the course of its existence. In early 1998, South Korea's National Tax Service decided that the music industry should be more transparent. The Korean Video Record Association decided in a meeting held on July 23, 1998, that record sales should be tracked and released on a monthly basis. Michael Allen Madden (born May 13, 1979) is an American musician and a former bassist for the pop rock band Maroon 5. Life and music career Madden was born in Austin, Texas. He began playing in junior high school at the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, playing in garages along with friends Jesse Carmichael (guitar/vocals) and Adam Levine (vocals/guitar). James Burgon Valentine (born October 5, 1978) is an American musician who is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the pop rock band Maroon 5. Early life Valentine was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and has three sisters and one brother.
