''Big Hero 6'' is a 2014 American computer-animated superhero film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Loosely based on the Marvel comics of the same name created by Man of Action, it is the 54th Disney animated feature film. The film was directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams and produced by Roy Conli, from a screenplay written by Jordan Roberts and the writing team of Robert L. Baird and Dan Gerson. The film stars the voices of Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Daniel Henney, T.J. Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, James Cromwell, Maya Rudolph, and Alan Tudyk. Donald Lee Hall (born March 8, 1969) is an American film director, voice actor and writer at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He is known for co-directing ''Winnie the Pooh'' (2011), '' Big Hero 6'' (2014), '' Moana'' (2016), and ''Raya and the Last Dragon'' (2021). Baymax is a fictional superhero character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Steven T.
