''Big Hero 6'' is a 2014 American computer-animated superhero film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Loosely based on the Marvel comics of the same name created by Man of Action, it is the 54th Disney animated feature film. Donald Lee Hall (born March 8, 1969) is an American film director, voice actor and writer at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He is known for co-directing ''Winnie the Pooh'' (2011), '' Big Hero 6'' (2014), '' Moana'' (2016), and ''Raya and the Last Dragon'' (2021). Computer animation is the process used for digitally generating animations. The more general term computer-generated imagery (CGI) encompasses both static scenes (still images) and dynamic images (moving images), while computer animation refers to moving images.
