Big Game TV
Big Game TV (stylised as BIG Game TV!) was a live phone-in quiz channel that was broadcast via Sky Broadcasting in 2005. It released a spin-off, ''The Hallmark Channel Quiz'' on 6 March 2006, which was shown on The Hallmark Channel. The show used only three of the presenters. Big Game TV Productions added The Daily Quiz! 13 March 2006. This show aired on ITV Play and on Men & Motors seven days a week and featured a selection of Big Game TV's presenters. ITV ended their involvement with Big Game TV due to fraud allegations in May 2006. Controversy Big Game TV was the subject of a City of London Police investigation brought by the BBC Radio 4 programme ''You and Yours'' in May 2006 over allegations that receptionists were told to ignore all incoming calls for long periods of time while 150-200 calls per minute were charged 75p each. Quiz Channel
A quiz channel (also known as a participation television channel) is a television channel that focuses on phone-in quizzes. The quizzes usually focus on puzzles, such as filling in blanks, identifying subjects, or other forms of word puzzles. The channels make money by encouraging viewers to call a toll phone number for the chance to play. The first dedicated quiz channel is considered to be Germany's 9Live, which launched on September 1, 2001. The best known example in the United Kingdom is Quiz TV (2004–2006), the first to launch in that country. Two major commercial television networks, ITV and Channel Four Television Corporation, through Ostrich Media launched ITV Play and Quiz Call respectively to capitalize on the phenomenon. Tommy Sandhu (born 24 November 1976) is an English disc jockey remixer, record producer and television presenter. Career Sandhu's first presenting job was with Tess Daly on ''Smash Hits TV'' for Sky One. He was also the announcer – replacing Graham Skidmore on the final series of the British version of ''Blind Date'', starring Cilla Black. Sandhu has DJ'd in many London venues, including Chinawhite, Movida, Café de Paris, Paper, Kensington Roof Gardens and the Shadow Lounge. His DJ sets include funky house and rhythm and blues. A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to answer questions correctly on one or several specific topics. Quizzes can be used as a brief assessment in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills. Mitchell Allen Johnson (born March 1, 1942) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns. He played college football at UCLA. Early years Johnson attended Centennial High School, before moving on to Los Angeles State College. He transferred to UCLA after his sophomore season, becoming a two-year starter at left tackle. In addition to his talents as a blocker, his athletic ability allowed him to score two touchdowns on tackle-eligible plays. Keith Price (born June 28, 1991) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Washington, where he was the starting quarterback from 2011 to 2013. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. He has also played professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he was a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the BC Lions.
