Big East–Big 12 Battle
The Big East–Big 12 Battle was an annual NCAA Division I men's college basketball series in which teams from the Big East Conference faced the teams of the Big 12 Conference. The series was played annually for four years, from 2019 through 2022. In 2019, when the Big East consisted of 10 teams, all 10 Big East teams faced one of the 10 Big 12 teams. The Big East expanded to 11 teams when UConn moved from the American Athletic Conference to the Big East for the 2020–2021 season, so from 2020 through 2022 ten of the 11 Big East teams faced one of the Big 12 teams and one Big East team did not participate. Unlike in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the teams in the Big East-Big 12 Battle did not face each other all on the same day. NCAA Division I (D-I) is the highest level of College athletics, intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States, which accepts players globally. D-I schools include the major collegiate athletic powers, with large budgets, more elaborate facilities and more athletic scholarships than Divisions II and III as well as many smaller schools committed to the highest level of intercollegiate competition. 2019–20 DePaul Blue Demons Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball team represented DePaul University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by fifth-year (eighth overall with DePaul) head coach Dave Leitao and played their home games at Wintrust Arena in Chicago as members of the Big East Conference. The Demons finished the season 16–16, 3–15 in Big East play to finish in last place. Bramlage Coliseum
Fred Bramlage Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena in Manhattan, Kansas with an official capacity of 11,654. It is the home to the K-State Men's and Women's basketball teams and serves as an alternative venue for K-State Women's Volleyball. The facility currently holds offices for various administrative and business units for K-State Athletics, and Track & Field. Bramlage was previously the home for other K-State team offices including Women's Soccer and Baseball. Construction and usage The arena is located in the northwest corner of the Kansas State campus, along with the rest of the school's athletic facilities, abutting the south end zone of Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium.
