Big Brother (Finnish Season 11)
The eleventh season of '' Big Brother Suomi'' premiered on 1 September 2019 and was aired on Jim and Nelonen. This is the first season to air on Jim and Nelonen after the first ten seasons aired on Sub from 2005–2014. After a five-year hiatus, the revival of ''Big Brother Suomi'' was announced on 14 January 2019 alongside the revival of the Polish edition of ''Big Brother''. On 9 July 2019, it was announced Elina Kottonen returned to host the main show. Daily Show co-host by Kimmo Vehviläinen and Alma Hätönen. For this season, the Big Brother house is located next to the shopping centre Redi in Kalasatama Kalasatama ( sv, Fiskehamnen; literally translated "fish port") is a neighbourhood in the city of Helsinki, Finland. Jim (TV Channel)
''Jim'' (abbr. of ''Jotain ihan muuta'', in English '' Something completely different'') is a Finnish national television channel that replaced Nelonen Plus on 26 February 2007. Jim is part of Nelonen Media's media division, which is part of the Sanoma Group's Finnish media business division, Sanoma Media Finland. The programming of the channel consists of imported programs: mainly do-it-yourself programs, documentaries and popular series such as ''Fifth Gear'', ''Wheeler Dealers'', and '' Penn & Teller: Bullshit!''. Marco Casagrande
Marco Casagrande (born 7 May 1971) is a Finnish architect, environmental artist, architectural theorist, former mercenary, writer and professor of architecture. He graduated from Helsinki University of Technology department of architecture (2001). Early life Casagrande was born in Turku, Finland, to a well-off Finnish-Italian Catholic family. He spent his childhood in Ylitornio in Finnish Lapland, but went to school in Karis, a southern Finland small town, before moving to Helsinki to study architecture. Nelonen (television)
is a Finnish commercial television channel. It started out as Helsinki Helsinki ( or ; ; sv, Helsingfors, ) is the Capital city, capital, primate city, primate, and List of cities and towns in Finland, most populous city of Finland. Kalasatama
Kalasatama ( sv, Fiskehamnen; literally translated "fish port") is a neighbourhood in the city of Helsinki, Finland. The area is officially part of the Sörnäinen district; and like Sörnäinen, Kalasatama is located a little more than one kilometre north from the coastal centre of Helsinki, near the district of Hakaniemi, and the east side of Kalasatama borders the sea. Itäväylä, which leads in the direction of East Helsinki, runs next to Kalasatama. The Isoisänsilta pedestrian and cycling bridge, opened in 2016, connects Kalasatama to the nearby islands of Mustikkamaa, Korkeasaari and Kulosaari. Kalasatama is projected to become a rather densely built-up area - about 25,000 inhabitants expected to come there, about as many as in Kallio. In addition, jobs are planned for Kalasatama for about 10,000 people.
