''Big Brother'' is a reality show based on the ''Big Brother'' series by Endemol. The show originates from the Netherlands, where in 1999 the first season was aired. At present, the format is spread in a number of countries around the world. A group of people (called the Housemates) live together in an isolated house. 24 hours a day their life is recorded by hidden cameras in all the rooms in the House. They do not have TV, Internet, newspapers, even watches on their wrists. The Housemates are completely isolated from the outside world. Every week, each one of them must enter the Diary room and nominate two of the other people for public eviction. The two or more housemates with most negative votes become nominated. For almost a week the TV viewers have to decide which of them to be evicted, voting via SMS or phone calls. Every week the Housemates have a week task. Big Brother (1984)
Big Brother is a fictional character and symbol in George Orwell's dystopian 1949 novel ''Nineteen Eighty-Four''. He is ostensibly the leader of Oceania, a totalitarian state wherein the ruling party, Ingsoc, wields total power "for its own sake" over the inhabitants. Orlin Orlinov Pavlov (born April 23, 1979) ( Bulgarian Cyrillic: Орлин Орлинов Павлов) is a Bulgarian singer and actor. Music and Acting career In 2002 Orlin Pavlov was invited to become the lead singer of the pop group Kaffe. Kaffe was the first Bulgarian band to represent the country in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine with the song Lorraine which ranked 19th with the total of 49 points respectively. In 2006, Orlin Pavlov started his solo career with the song "Dream on", followed by numerous collaborations with Bulgarian singers, composers and producers. He was participating in Dancing With The Stars in 2008, and Vip Brother in 2012, where he won both reality formats. VIP Brother 4
''VIP Brother 4'', also referred to as ''VIP Brother 2012'' was the fourth season of the reality show ''VIP Brother'' in Bulgaria and the ninth season of the '' Big Brother'' format overall. It commenced on Nova Television on September 16, 2012 and lasted for two months, ending on November 17, 2012. It was immediately followed by an All-Stars edition. It was the first season to air more than two years after the family edition and more than three years after the third celebrity edition. Niki Kanchev returned as the show's main presenter for the Live shows on Monday on Wednesday (evictions and nominations, respectively), with Aleksandra Sarchadjieva being the presenter for the daily episodes. VIP Brother 3
''VIP Brother 3'' was the third season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was launched on Nova Television on 16 March 2009, and ended on 10 May 2009 with an eleven-hour season finale starting at 3:00 pm and finishing after 1:00 am. This season was confirmed on 31 December 2008 by Niki Kanchev, who returned as a host. He announced that the season would start in March 2009. Later on the same day, Nova Television aired the first promo with the slogan ''Celebrities change destinies''. The show is produced by Niko Tuparev (''Old School Productions'') again. ''VIP Brother 2'' was the second season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was aired on Nova Television. The show started on 26 March 2007 and ended on 27 April 2007. It lasted for 33 days, 4 days longer than the previous season, because of the high ratings. The show was hosted by Niki Kanchev. ''Big Brother 4'' was the fourth season of the reality show '' Big Brother'' in Bulgaria. It was aired on Nova Television and Nova+. Big Brother 3 was the third season of the reality show '' Big Brother'' in Bulgaria. It was aired on Nova Television and Nova+. The show launched on 18 September 2006 and ended on 11 December 2006. Originally, the season was planned to air for 11 weeks (78 days), 2 weeks shorter than the previous two seasons. However, the season was extended by 7 days and aired for 85 days in total. For the first time, the show was only hosted by Niki Kanchev. This season, the prize was 500 000 leva.
