''Big Brother Australia 11'', also known as ''Big Brother 2014'', was the eleventh season of the Australian reality television series '' Big Brother''. It began on 8 September 2014 on the Nine Network. The season ended on 26 November 2014, lasting 80 days. Excluding the celebrity edition of the show, this is the shortest Big Brother season to date. The winner of the season was Ryan Ginns, who won a total of . The show's renewal was confirmed by the Nine Network, who air the show, at the end of the previous season's finale. Sonia Melissa Kruger (born 28 August 1965) is an Australian television presenter and media personality, who has been a prominent figure in the media for over 20 years. Kruger is currently the host of '' Big Brother Australia'' and a presenter on ''The Voice Australia''. She is best known for co-hosting the popular Australian version of '' Dancing with the Stars'' and for the role of Tina Sparkle in the dark 1992 film '' Strictly Ballroom''. Kruger has also been a co-host of ''Today Extra''. During her time at the Seven Network, Kruger has also reported for numerous other events, including the network's coverage of the Olympics, the Melbourne Cup and the Australian Open. It began on 28 July 2013, with a pre-recorded launch show airing on 29 July 2013 on the Nine Network. Coomera railway station is located on the Gold Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Gold Coast suburb of Coomera.
