Bien De Moor
Bien De Moor (born 11 June 1962) is a Belgian actress. Born in De Pinte, she graduated at the drama course of "Studio Herman Teirlinck" in Antwerp. Her role of Solange in the stage play ''De Meiden'' ("''The Girl''") gained her a Theo d'Or in 2005. For her performance in the controversial film ''Code Blue'' she was awarded as best actress at the Seville European Film Festival. The short film ''Vera'' by Dutch filmmaker Thomas Korthals Altes, with Bien De Moor in the lead role, won the Grand Prix Award and the Best Short Award at the 2010 Tokyo Short Shorts Film Festival. De Pinte
De Pinte () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. Before its existence as an independent municipality in 1868, De Pinte was a part of Nazareth. The municipality comprises the towns of De Pinte proper and Zevergem. In 2021, De Pinte had a total population of 10,990. The total area is 17.78 km². History The name of the municipality is issued from an inn, which was called "Het Pijntken", which was situated in the actual Pintestraat 69, and which was firstly used as the name of the municipality when it became independent of Nazareth on 2. June 1868 and it was called 'Little Nazareth" at that time. Herman Teirlinck
Herman Louis Cesar Teirlinck (Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, 24 February 1879 – Beersel-Lot, 4 February 1967) was a Belgian writer. He was the fifth child and only son of Isidoor Teirlinck and Oda van Nieuwenhove, who were both teachers in Brussels. As a child, he had frail health and spent much of his time at the countryside in Zegelsem (East Flanders), with his paternal grandparents. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature six times. Education From 1886 until 1890 he went to the primary school ''Karel Buls'' in Brussels. He went to high school at the ''Koninklijk Athenaeum'' (E: royal athenaeum) in Brussels, where he studied Greek and Latin. One of his teachers was Hyppoliet Meert, a Flamingant and language purist. Theo D'Or
The Theo d'Or is a Dutch acting award, given annually to the actress with the most impressive leading role of the theater season. It is awarded by the Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD), the main trade organisation for theaters in The Netherlands. The award itself is a golden medal, currently designed by Eric Claus. It was named after the Dutch actress Theo Mann-Bouwmeester. Its male counterpart is the Louis d'Or, named after Theo's brother, Louis Bouwmeester. The Theo d'Or is awarded annually, along with the other VSCD stage awards, at the Gala of Dutch Theater in the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam.
