Bianca Chatfield
Bianca Chatfield (born 2 April 1982) is a former Australia netball international. Between 2001 and 2014 she made 59 senior appearances for Australia. Chatfield was a member of the Australia teams that won the gold medals at the 2007 World Netball Championships and the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Between 1998 and 2007, Chatfield played for Melbourne Phoenix in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy league and between 2008 and 2015, she played for Melbourne Vixens in the ANZ Championship. During a thirteen year playing career she played in six premiership winning teams – four with Phoenix and two with Vixens. She captained Vixens for eight seasons, including when they won the 2009 and 2014 ANZ Championships. Since retiring as a netball player, Chatfield has worked in various media and television roles, including as a Suncorp Super Netball commentator for Channel Nine. Australia National Netball Team
The Australia national netball team, also known as the Australian Diamonds, represent Netball Australia in international netball tournaments such as the INF Netball World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, the Constellation Cup, the Netball Quad Series and the Fast5 Netball World Series. 2009 World Netball Series
The 2009 World Netball Series was the inaugural tournament of the World Netball Series. The 2009 Series was held at MEN Arena in Manchester, England from 9–11 October, and was the first major trial of the new FastNet rules that were announced by the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) in 2008. New Zealand won the 2009 tournament with a 32–27 victory over Jamaica in the gold medal playoff. Carla Dziwoki
Carla Dziwoki (born 29 August 1982) is a former Australian netball player. Dziwoki played with the Queensland Firebirds in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. She played for Team Northumbria in the 2008–09 Netball Superleague for the . She also played for Leeds Carnegie during the 2009–10 Netball Superleague season. Dziwoki rejoined the Queensland Firebirds for the 2009 ANZ Championship season after Megan Dehn withdrew from the side. Dziwoki also plays in the Netball NSW Premier League where she represents the Sutherland Shire. Dziwoki will also be representing NSW Waratahs in the Australian Netball League. The 2009 ANZ Championship season was the second season of the ANZ Championship. The 2009 season began on 4 April and concluded on 26 July. Melbourne Vixens were minor premiers. With a team co-captained by Bianca Chatfield and Sharelle McMahon, Vixens subsequently defeated Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic 58–43 in the major semi-final and Adelaide Thunderbirds 54–46 in the grand final to finish as overall premiers. The ANZ Championship, also known as the Trans-Tasman Netball League, is a former netball league featuring teams from both Australia and New Zealand. Between 2008 and 2016, it was the top-level league in both countries. The competition was owned and administered by Trans-Tasman Netball League Ltd (TTNL), a joint venture between Netball Australia and Netball New Zealand. 2008 ANZ Championship Season
The 2008 ANZ Championship season was the inaugural season of the ANZ Championship. The 2008 season began on 5 April and concluded on 28 July. Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic were minor premiers after finishing top of the table following the regular season. New South Wales Swifts, with a team coached by Julie Fitzgerald and captained by Catherine Cox, won 10 of their 13 matches and finished second behind Magic. Swifts subsequently defeated Magic in both the major semi–final and the grand final to become the inaugural ANZ Championship winners. The grand final was played on 28 July at Acer Arena.
