Bhimrao Panchale
Bhimrao Panchale ( mr, भीमराव पांचाळे ; 30 March 1951) is a Marathi ''ghazal'' singer from the state of Maharashtra, India. He is known as ''Ghazal Nawaz'' (Prince of ''Ghazals'') for his exposition of the ''ghazal'' and its adaptation to the Marathi language. Career After completing 8 years of training Bhimrao performed ''Sugam Sangeet'' in different parts of Maharashtra. He later began singing Urdu g''hazal''. He also sang Marathi ''ghazal'' to large audiences by conducting various ''mehfil'' in Maharashtra. Bhimrao gave his first concert in Marathi ''ghazal'' in 1972. He was closely linked with Ghazalkar Ilahi Jamadar. In 2011, a felicitation concert was held in Mumbai, on the occasion of 60th birthday. Panchale has been awarded "Ekata kala Gaurav Puraskar" on 16th Jan 2016. Ilahi Jamadar
Ilahi Jamadar ( mr, इलाही जमादार; March 1, 1946 at – 31 January 2021) was a noted Marathi poet from Maharashtra, India. He was known for blending Urdu and Marathi verses in his ghazals. Career Jamadar began writing poetry at the young age of 18. He soon became a disciple of noted poet Suresh Bhat. His ghazals often were an amalgamation of alternating Marathi and Urdu lines. He was associated All India Radio where he presented work through various programs including ''YuvaWani'' (युववाणी), ''Marathi Sugam Sangeet'' (मराठी सुगम संगीत), ''SwarChitra'' (स्वरचित्र). He also presented his work on with Doordarshan in ''Arohi'' (आरोही). He conducted the ''Ilahi Ghazal Clinic'' training workshops for upcoming poets.
