Bhim Singh Of Amber
Bhim Singh (? – 22 July 1537) was a sixteenth-century Rajput ruler of Amber. He was the eldest son of his father, Raja Prithviraj Singh I, by his wife Bala Bai, a daughter of Rao Lunkaran of Bikaner. Some sources allege that Prithviraj died at the hands of Bhim, who in turn was later killed by his own son Askaran. However, these claims of patricide are dismissed by historian Jadunath Sarkar, who asserts that they lack credibility since their sources are anonymous and undated. Bhim is also said to have overthrown his predecessor, his brother Puranmal, though this too is uncertain. Bhim only reigned three and a half years before dying on 22 July 1537. Bhim Singh Rana
BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) is an Indian mobile payment app developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Launched on 30 December 2016, it is intended to facilitate e-payments directly through banks and encourage cashless transactions. It was named after the dalit leader Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. The application supports all Indian banks which use UPI, which is built over the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) infrastructure and allows the user to instantly transfer money between 170 member banks of any two parties. It can be used on all mobile devices. Operation BHIM allows users to send or receive money to or from UPI payment addresses, or to non-UPI based accounts (by scanning a QR code with account number and IFS code or MMID code). Bhim Singh Of Marwar
Bhim Singh (? - 19 October 1803), was the Maharaja of Marwar Kingdom ( 17 July 1793 – 19 October 1803). He seized Mehrangarh and proclaimed himself ruler in place of his grandfather on 13 April 1792. On 20 March 1793, he surrendered and retired to his personal jagir at Sawana, and again seized the fort and proclaimed himself ruler for the second time on 17 July 1793. He spent his entire reign contesting the succession with his uncles and cousins. Bhim Singh was decided to be married to Krishna Kumari of Udaipur by her father Bhim Singh of Mewar. Bhim Singh Of Mewar
Bhim Singh (10 March 1768 – 30 March 1828), was the 26th Maharana (r. 1778–1828) of the Mewar region and the 1st Maharana of the Princely state of Udaipur. He was a son of Maharana Ari Singh II and younger brother of Maharana Hamir Singh II. At ten years of age, Bhim Singh succeeded his brother, Hamir Singh II, who had died at 16 years of age from a wound when a rifle burst in his hand. Hamir Singh II had ruled an unstable state with an empty treasury under a regency by Maharaj Baghsingh and Arjunsingh. Bhim Singh inherited this unstable state, after its unpaid Maratha soldiers had looted Chittor. The soldiers' depredations continued and more territory was lost during Bhim Singh's rule. Bhim Singh II
Maharaja Sir Bhim Singh II, Order of the Star of India, KCSI (14 September 1909 – 20 July 1991) was the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Kotah from 1940 to 1947. Early career The only son and heir of Maharaja Sri Sir Umed Singhji II, Bhim Singhji II succeeded his father following his death in 1940. He immediately entered into service with the British Indian Army as an officer, serving during the Second World War and being promoted to Major by 1948. Although he planned several education and modernisation programs for Kotah, they did not reach fruition before Partition of India, Indian independence. He was knighted with the KCSI in 1947, and signed the Instrument of Accession to the Dominion of India on 15 August. Bhim Singh (17 August 1941 – 31 May 2022) was an Indian politician, activist, lawyer and author. He was the founder, president and chief patron of the socialist and secular Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP). Singh was Panthers Party chairman for 30 years from 1982-2012, chief patron from 2012-2021, and president from 14 February 2021-31 May 2022. In effect with over 40 years of controlling leadership, he was India’s longest serving political party leader, and one of the longest serving leaders in the world. Singh was an elected member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 1977 until 1987, from Chenani-Ghordi (Udhampur). As party leader, he contested the 1988 Udhampur by-election to the Lok Sabha.
