Bhediya (film)
''Bhediya'' () is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. It is the third installment in Vijan's horror-comedy universe. It was released on 25 November 2022 to positive reviews. Plot Bhaskar and his cousin, Janardhan "Jana", visit a small town in Arunachal Pradesh, as part of a development project to construct roads in the area. They make acquaintance with two locals, Jomin and Panda, who guide them around. One night, Bhaskar is chased and bitten by a wolf in the forest. Jana and Jomin immediately take him to Dr. Anika, who happens to be the local veterinarian. Seeing the huge bite mark on Bhaskar's rear end and him being in immense pain, she gives him an injection, hoping it would alleviate his pain. Amar Kaushik
Amar Kaushik is an Indian director and actor working in Hindi cinema. He is best known for directing the critical and commercial blockbusters '' Stree'' (2018) and '' Bala'' (2019). Early life Amar Kaushik grew up in Medo, Arunachal Pradesh where his father was a forest ranger who worked for the Indian Forest Service and his mother Shashi was a school teacher. When he was 10 years old, the family moved to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He later studied mass communications in Delhi and moved to Mumbai in 2006. In 2009, Kaushik was attacked on a bus by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena members who mistakenly believed he was director Anurag Kashyap. ''Roohi'' is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. The film is the second installment in Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, the first being '' Stree'', and is to be followed by '' Bhediya''. It tells the story of a ghost who abducts brides on their honeymoons. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma. It was announced on 29 March 2019 and filming kicked off on 14 June 2019 in Agra. The film was set to release in June 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India interrupted production. The film was theatrically released in India on 11 March 2021. The film received negative reviews from the critics for its convoluted plot.
