Bhavana Gawali (born 23 May 1974) is a five timer Member of Parliament representing Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha. She is serving as a Member of Parliament for this constituency since 1999. She is currently the senior most Member of Parliament from Maharashtra(25 years in office) She was also a member of the 13th Lok Sabha, 14th Lok Sabha, 15th Lok Sabha, 16th Lok Sabha and 17th Lok Sabha. 16th Lok Sabha
Members of the 16th Lok Sabha were elected during the 2014 Indian general election. The elections were conducted in 9 phases from 7 April 2014 to 12 May 2014 by the Election Commission of India. The results of the election were declared on 16 May 2014. The Bharatiya Janata Party (of the NDA) achieved an absolute majority with 282 seats out of 543, 166 seats more than in the previous 15th Lok Sabha.
