Kunwar Bharatendra Singh is an Indian politician. He was a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elected from Bijnor as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. He lost 2019 Lok Sabha election from Bijnor Lok Sabha constituency. Kunwar Bhartendra Singh belongs to Jat community . He has been in news and controversies as an accused in the Muzaffarnagar riots. He was also issued notice by the Allahabad High Court on an election petition filed by one Rajendra Kumar. On 3 October 2015, Singh and residents of Vidurkuti village raided an illegal sand mining site along the Ganga river, forcing the miners to flee. In March 2019, an effigy of Kunwar Bharatendra was burnt in Mawana Khurd and people held black flags and protested while alleging no visit from the MP in the region and no development of the area in the past five years. Dehradun () is the capital and the most populous city of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Allahabad High Court
Allahabad High Court, also known as High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is the high court based in Prayagraj that has jurisdiction over the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established on 17 March 1866, making it one of the oldest high courts to be established in India. History Prayagraj became the seat of Government of North-Western Provinces and a High Court was established in 1834 but was shifted to Agra within a year. In 1875 it shifted back to Prayagraj. The former High Court was located at the Accountant General's office at the University of Allahabad complex. 2013 Muzaffarnagar Violence
The clashes between the Hindu and Muslim communities in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India in August–September 2013, resulted in at least 62 deaths including 42 Muslims and 20 Hindus and injured 93 and left more than 50,000 people displaced. By date 17 September, the curfew was lifted from all riot affected areas and the army was also withdrawn. The riot has been described as "the worst violence in Uttar Pradesh in recent history", with the army, as a result, being deployed in the state for the first time in last 20 years.
