Bharat Narah
Bharat Chandra Narah (born 2 January 1958) is an Indian National Congress politician from Assam and Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), MLA serving his sixth term from Naoboicha (Vidhan Sabha constituency), Naoboicha constituency since 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly election, 2021. He was previously a five-term MLA of Dhakuakhana (Vidhan Sabha constituency), Dhakuakhana constituency, 1985-2011, and a cabinet minister in the Government of Assam, Assam government, 1985-1987, 1988-1990, and 2001-2011. He was the Chief Minister of Assam, Chief Minister's Press Advisor with cabinet rank, 2012-2016. Before joining the Congress, Narah was a member of the Asom Gana Parishad. He was also a leader of the All Assam Students' Union. His wife, Ranee Narah, is a former Union government ministries of India, Union Minister of India and four-term Member of Parliament (India), Member of Parliament. Indian National Congress
