Bhajan Lal Sharma
Bhajan Lal Sharma (born 15 December 1966) is an Indian politician serving as the 14th and current Chief Minister of Rajasthan since December 2023. He is a member of the 16th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Sanganer constituency. Early life Sharma was born in Atari village of Bharatpur’s Nadbai. He was born in a Hindu Brahmin Family to Kishan Swaroop Sharma and Gomati Devi. According to the educational qualification mentioned in his election affidavit, he has an MA in political science from the University of Rajasthan. Political career Sharma started his political career with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since his school days through its student wing the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He later went on to become the district co-convener and Co- Zila Pramukh there. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) () is a right-wing all India student organisation affiliated to the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( ; , , ) is an Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist, paramilitary volunteer organisation.
