Bhairavakona
Bhairavakona is a holy place situated on the heart of Nallamala Hills in the Prakasam district of the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. The name Bhairavakona originated from the fact that temple of Sri Trimukha Durgamba Mahadevi along with Sri Barguleshwari Swamy temple is present at that place and Kaala Bhairava Swamy guards the location. The main deity has three faces in which Goddess Saraswathi devi is seeing her face in the mirror. The temple is carved from a single stone, Eka sila. Bhairavakona is from Udayagiri, a town in Nellore district. APSRTC's Udayagiri depot provides buses to Seetharamapuram which is from Bhairavakona.From Seetharamapuram one can take share Auto's to Bhairavakona. This place is home to an ancient Shiva temple. There is waterfall which falls from a height of 200 metres and there are eight temples carved in the hill there. Prakasam District
Prakasam district is one of the thirteen districts in the coastal Andhra region of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was formed in 1970 and reorganised in 2022 on April 4. The headquarters of the district is Ongole. It is located on the western shore of Bay of Bengal and is bounded by Bapatla district and Palnadu districts on the north, Nandyal district on the west, Kadapa and Nellore districts on the south. Udayagiri is a town in Udayagiri Subdivisions of India, Mandal in the Nellore district of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Geography Udayagiri is located at . Nallamala Hills
The Nallamalas (also called the Nallamalla Range) are a section of the Eastern Ghats which forms the eastern boundary of Rayalaseema region of the state of Andhra Pradesh and Nagarkurnool district of the state of Telangana, in India. They run in a nearly north-south alignment, parallel to the Coromandel Coast for close to 430 km between the rivers, Krishna and Pennar. Its northern boundaries are marked by the flat Palnadu basin while in the south it merges with the Tirupati hills. An extremely old system, the hills have extensively weathered and eroded over the years. The average elevation today is about 520 m which reaches 1100 m at Bhairani Konda and 1048 m at Gundla Brahmeswara. Both of these peaks are in a north westerly direction from the town of Cumbum.
