Bhagya Chakramu
''Bhagya Chakramu'' () is a 1968 Telugu-language film, directed by K. V. Reddy, and produced by P. S. Reddy under the Jayanthi Pictures banner. It stars N. T. Rama Rao snd B. Saroja Devi, with music composed by Pendyala Nageswara Rao. Plot Once upon a time, there was a kingdom Narendrapura. Its king Dharmapala Maharaja (Mudigonda Lingamurthy) is a widower and living for the sake of his only daughter. Karkataka (Rajanala) is a snake charmer who ploys to make his sister Nagamma (Surabhi Balasaraswathi), the wife of the king. So, he secretly enters into the palace takes the mud from the footsteps of the princess, and makes the snake bite her. Then Karkataka enters as a saint and makes a condition to save the princess that the king should marry his sister. Between two fires, the King accepts and marries Nagamma but neglects her. Pingali Nagendrarao
Pingali Nagendra Rao (29 December 1901 – 6 May 1971), known mononymously by his surname Pingali, was an Indian screenwriter, lyricist, and playwright who worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. Famous for his witty and romantic lyrics, he also wrote dialogues for many films. ''Pathala Bhairavi'' (1951), ''Missamma'' (1955), and ''Mayabazar'' (1957) are some of his best known works for story, script and song lyrics. Geethanjali (1947 – 31 October 2019) was an Indian actress who worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films. In an career spanning close to six decades, she featured in over 500 films across multiple languages. Her first film as a dancer is Rani Ratnaprabha in 1960. NTR introduced her to the silver screen as a heroine with his directorial debut film '' Sita Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961. Madhavapeddi Satyam
Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice. His voice suited artists like S. V. Ranga Rao, Relangi and Ramana Reddy. He also sang for others like Akkineni Nageswara Rao, N.T. Rama Rao, Jaggayya and Padmanabham. Pithapuram Nageswara Rao (5 May 1930 – 5 March 1996) was an Indian playback singer who worked in the early period of Telugu cinema. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. Jyothi Lakshmi (2 November 1948 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian actress who appeared in more than 130 movies. In the early 1970s, she was well noted for her leading roles and songs in movies. Chalam (born Simhachalam Korada) (18 May 1929 - 4 May 1989) was an Indian film actor, and producer known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema, and Telugu theatre. In 1971 he produced and acted in ''Mattilo Manikyam'' which won the Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 19th National Film Awards. In a film career spanning 30 years, Chalam was starred in about 150 films in a variety of roles. Personal life Chalam married Ramanakumari, and changed his name to Ramana Chalam. They have 3 children. Ramana Kumari died in 1964 in a fire accident. Chalam later married, to Urvasi Sharada, his co-star in her debut film, ''Tandrulu Kodukulu'' in 1972. They later divorced in 1984. Death Chalam died on 4 May 1989. Due to alcohol addication.in his final days he also suffered from depression.
