Bhagwan Sahay
Bhagwan Sahay (15 February 1905 – 6 December 1986) was the Governor of Kerala, India, from 6 February 1966 to 15 May 1967. Bhagwan Sahay took over as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on 15 May 1967 and continued till 3 July 1973. He was an ICS officer and an alumnus of the S.M College in Chandausi, Moradabad and became the second alumni of that College, after his immediate predecessor Ajit Prasad Jain, to become governor of Kerala. Before his stint in Kerala, he was also the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab. In the 1970s, under President VV Giri, a former governor of Kerala himself, he headed the committee of governors which sought to outline guidelines for constitutional heads. Lakshmi Kant Jha
Lakshmi Kant Jha, MBE (22 November 1913 – 16 January 1988), born in Darbhanga district, Bihar was the eighth Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 1 July 1967 to 3 May 1970. Education and career Lakshmi Kant Jha was born into a Maithil Brahmin family in Darbhanga, Bihar. He was a member of the 1936 batch of the Indian Civil Service. He was educated at Benares Hindu University (BHU), Trinity College, Cambridge University, and London School of Economics. He studied economics at Cambridge when Keynes was teaching there. Jha was taught by another eminent teacher Harold Laski at the LSE. Jha rose to be a Deputy Secretary in the Department of Supply, during British rule and was appointed an MBE for his service in the 1946 New Year Honours. Karan Singh
Karan Singh (born 9 March 1931) is an Indian politician and philosopher. He is the son of the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, Sir Hari Singh. He was the prince regent of Jammu and Kashmir until 1952. From 1952 to 1965 he was the '' Sadr-i-Riyasat'' (President) of the state of Jammu and Kashmir in the Republic of India. Vishnu Sahay
Vishnu Sahay (22 November 1901 – 3 April 1989) was a former ICS officer and Cabinet Secretary of India who served as Governor of Assam and Nagaland following his retirement. Early life and education Sahay was the elder brother of Bhagawan Sahay, also an ICS officer and a former Governor of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh. Vishnu Sahay studied at the SM College, Chandausi and at the Oxford University. He was a member of the 1925 batch of the ICS, passing the exams on 16 October of that year. Somewhat unusually, he was never awarded any of the honours which a civilian of his long service would have normally received. VV Giri
Varahagiri Venkata Giri (; 10 August 1894 — 24 June 1980) was an Indian politician and activist from Berhampur in Odisha who served as the 4th president of India from 24 August 1969 to 24 August 1974. He also 3rd vice president of India from 13 May 1967 to 3 May 1969. He is the first president to be elected as an independent candidate. He was succeeded by Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed as president in 1974. Ajit Prasad Jain (6 October 1902 – 2 January 1977) was an Indian politician who served as the President of the U. P. Congress Committee, member of the Constituent Assembly, Union minister and Governor of Kerala from Saharanpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
