Beñat Etxebarria Urkiaga (, ; born 19 February 1987), known mononymously as Beñat, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He spent the better part of his professional career with Athletic Bilbao, appearing in 242 competitive matches and scoring 11 goals while winning the 2015 Supercopa de España. In La Liga, he also represented Betis. Beñat earned four caps for the Spain national team. Club career Athletic Bilbao Beñat was born in Igorre, Biscay. Coming through Athletic Bilbao's prolific youth ranks at Lezama, he played his first three years with both the third team, CD Basconia, and the reserve side. Salvador "Salva" Sevilla López (born 18 March 1984) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Deportivo Alavés as a central midfielder. Club career Born in Berja, Province of Almería, Andalusia, Sevilla finished his development with local club Polideportivo Ejido. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Francisco "Fran" Javier Yeste Navarro (born 6 December 1979) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or a left winger, and is a manager. He spent 11 years of his professional career with Athletic Bilbao (19 counting the youth system), appearing in 353 official matches and scoring 59 goals. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
