Bezirksoberliga Unterfranken
The Bezirksoberliga Unterfranken was the seventh tier of the German football league system in the Bavarian ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Lower Franconia (German: ''Unterfranken''). Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the sixth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fifth tier. The league was disbanded at the end of the 2011–12 season, when major changes to the Bavarian football league system were carried out. Above the Bezirksoberligas, the Landesligas were expanded in number from three to five divisions and the ''Bezirke'' have two to three regional leagues, the Bezirksligas, as its highest level again, similar to the system in place until 1988. Landesliga Bayern-Nord
The Landesliga Bayern-Nord ( en, State league Bavaria-North) was the sixth tier of the German football league system in northern Bavaria. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fifth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fourth tier. The winner of the Landesliga Nord was automatically qualified for the Bayernliga, the runners-up needed to compete with the runners-up of Landesliga Bayern-Süd and Landesliga Bayern-Mitte and the 15th placed team of the Bayernliga for another promotion spot. The league was disbanded in 2012, when the Regionalliga Bayern was introduced as the new fourth tier of the German league system in Bavaria. Below this league, the Bayernliga was expanded to two divisions while the number of Landesligas grew from three to five divisions. However, none of the new leagues carried the name Landesliga Bayern-Nord, with the Landesliga Bayern-Nordwest coming closest in territorial coverage. Alemannia Haibach
The Alemannia Haibach is a German association football club from the town of Haibach, Bavaria. The club's most notable moment came in 1996–97, when it spent a season in the tier four Fußball-Bayernliga. It also once qualified for German Cup play in 1979 but was knocked out in the first round by VfL Frohnlach in an 8–4 loss after extra time. History Founded in 1919, ''Alemannia Haibach'' spent most of its existence as a lower tier amateur side in regional football. It appeared only once on the national football scene, when it qualified for the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, in 1979. The club was drawn against fellow northern Bavarian amateur side ''VfL Frohnlach'' and the two teams played a memorable match, in which ''Frohnlach'' lead 4–1 after 66 minutes, followed by ''Haibach'' scoring three goals in eight minutes to equalise and force extra time.
