David Duncan (February 17, 1913 – December 27, 1999, Everett, Washington) was an American screenwriter and novelist. Biography He began writing professionally at the age of 33 after about ten years in government. His screenwriting career began in 1953 with the release of his first film and Paramount Pictures, Paramount's first 3-D film#The .22golden era.22 .281952–1955.29, 3-D film, ''Sangaree (film), Sangaree''. Thomas Dale Jackson, (born 27 October 1948) is a Canadian actor and singer. He created and starred in an annual series of Christmas concerts called the Huron Carole for 18 years. A note is a string of text placed at the bottom of a page in a book or document or at the end of a chapter, volume, or the whole text. An oratorio () is a large musical composition for orchestra, choir, and soloists. Like most operas, an oratorio includes the use of a choir, soloists, an instrumental ensemble, various distinguishable characters, and arias. However, opera is musical theatre, while oratorio is strictly a concert piece – though oratorios are sometimes staged as operas, and operas are sometimes presented in concert form. In an oratorio, the choir often plays a central role, and there is generally little or no interaction between the characters, and no props or elaborate costumes. Gwaai Edenshaw is a Haida people, Haida artist and filmmaker from Canada. Along with Helen Haig-Brown, he co-directed ''Edge of the Knife'' (), the first Haida language feature film. Background The son of noted Haida artist Guujaaw (Gary Edenshaw), he was raised on Haida Gwaii. At age 16, he went to Vancouver to apprentice as an artist with Bill Reid. He received a diploma in jewellery design from Vancouver Community College. As of 2018, he lived in Sechelt, BC with his partner, musician Kinnie Starr. Career As an artist, Edenshaw has worked primarily in woodcarving and jewellery, as well as some work in sketch and painting. Christopher Hunt () was an Exeter bookseller and stationer. Life He was the son of Walter Hunt, a cordwainer of Blandford in Dorset. On 12 January 1585 he apprenticed himself to Thomas Man, a London stationer for a period of eight years, beginning the previous Christmas Day. He was admitted to the Stationer's Company as a freeman on 2 October 1592, and returned to Exeter and made a freeman in 1593. There he opened a stationery in the parish of St. Martin, selling books and other items such as writing supplies, and had two titles printed for him in London by Adam Islip, both of them translations by the Cornish translator and antiquary Richard Carew. He removed to London some time before May 1606 and located a shop in Paternoster Row. His wife's name is unknown.
