Bevan French (born 4 January 1996) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a er and for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League. He has played for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL and the Indigenous All Stars side. Background French was born in Tingha, New South Wales, Australia, and is of Indigenous Australian descent. He is the nephew of former Australian international and St George Illawarra Dragons winger Nathan Blacklock. He played his junior rugby league for the Inverell Hawks. French was educated and 2013 graduate at Inverell High School. Tingha, New South Wales
Tingha is a small town on the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia in Inverell Shire. Formerly part of Armidale Region, on 1 July 2019, responsibility for Tingha was transferred from Armidale Regional Council to Inverell Shire Council. The town is south of Inverell and north-north-east of Sydney. Tingha is an Aboriginal word for "flat or level". National Youth Competition (rugby League)
The NRL Under-20s (known commercially as the Holden Cup due to sponsorship from Holden) was the top league of professional rugby league for players aged 20 years or younger in Australasia. Contested by sixteen teams, the Under-20s competition commenced in 2008 and was originally known as the Toyota Cup. The competition runs parallel to Australasia's professional competition, the National Rugby League, with NYC matches played immediately prior to the NRL games. Similar to the NRL, the NYC enforces a salary cap and puts a heavy focus on life outside football for the players. 2017 All Stars Match
The 2017 All Stars match was the seventh annual representative exhibition All Stars match of Australian rugby. The match was played between the Indigenous All Stars and the World All Stars and for the first time, the match was played outside of Queensland. Mal Meninga took over as coach of the World All Stars from Wayne Bennett. The Indigenous All Stars were selected through public vote from 7 November to 2 December 2016. World All Stars
The NRL All Stars team was a rugby league football team made up of professional players in the National Rugby League. These players were selected by fan vote. However, fans were only allowed to select one player from each NRL team to join the Australian rugby league team captain and the New Zealand national rugby league team captain. Two other players were selected by the NRL All Stars coach. This team played in the annual NRL All Stars Game against the Indigenous All Stars. They were replaced in 2016 by a World All Stars. New Zealand Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The Warriors are coached by Andrew Webster and captained by Tohu Harris. The Warriors are based at Mount Smart Stadium in the Auckland suburb of Penrose. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three.
