The exhibit consists of over 60 watercolor portraits of outstanding Kentucky women. The Kentucky Commission on Women receives nominations and selects two to four honorees each year to be included. The exhibit includes famous Kentucky musicians Loretta Lynn and Rosemary Clooney as well as civic leaders Mae Street Kidd and Georgia Davis Powers. Governor Edward T. Breathitt established a commission on the status of Kentucky women in April 1964. Beula, Pennsylvania
Beula, or Beulah, Pennsylvania was a town that existed between 1796 and 1804 in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, founded by Welsh Minister Morgan John Rhys. The original settlers under the guidance of Rhys had bought the land from Dr. Benjamin Rush, in search of a home in the countryside. They originally planned on settling in western Ohio, but it took too long to secure land in that region, so the Pennsylvania tract was settled upon. Two members of Rhys's party would go on to found Paddy's Run, Ohio. Rhys intended for Beula to be a cattle range. The Welsh were inspired to settle down in America by their religion -being Welsh Dissenters-, the politics of the era, and as well as the Prince Madoc myth, that a Welsh Prince had discovered America in the 1100s. It is one of the few ghost towns mentioned as a part of Pennsylvania's Ghost Town Trail. History Welsh Baptist Minister Morgan John Rhys founded Beula in 1796. His vision was to establish a "gwladfa" (Welsh-speaking colony ...

Beulas
Beulas SAU is a coachbuilder based in Arbúcies, Catalonia, Spain. The company builds a range of coach bodies on a variety of chassis. Their products are sold throughout Europe. History The company was established in 1934 by Ramón Beulas and Narcís Pujol in Arbúcies, a village in the Selva county of the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It was (after Indcar and Ayats) the third coachbuilding company to be founded in this small town, which offered the advantage of being in the midst of a densely forested area ("Selva" means "forest" in Catalan), useful since the bodyworks were still made of wood at the time. During the Spanish Civil War, Beulas built ambulance bodies for the army. For the next three decades, Beulas remained a small coachbuilder which hand-crafted each bodywork to order, making 6–10 per year. During the 1960s, the company grew steadily and components began to be standardized, allowing for an increase in production volume. In the 1970s and 1980s the company ...
