Between Us (Hayden James Album)
''Between Us'' is the debut studio album by Australian songwriter and record producer Hayden James. James told ''Billboard'' the album represents "the journey through different stages of relationships; love, separation and ultimately hope.". The album was released on 14 June 2019. James added in a Press release "Everything that I write obviously has my own DNA in it. It's important to me to make sure that when people listen to a record of mine they know it's a Hayden James record without having to look it up, and that comes to production techniques I use or the way I actually write the songs. So this record is more of a development of my sounds than anything else." At the ARIA Music Awards of 2019, the album was nominated for Best Male Artist. At the J Awards of 2019, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Critical reception ''Between Us'' received widespread acclaim. Hayden James
Hayden James is an Australian DJ, songwriter and record producer from Sydney. He is signed to the Future Classic label. Personal life Hayden James is married to Sydney artist Jennifer Lia. James became a father in 2020. Career 2013–2018: ''Hayden James'' James released his first single "Permission to Love" in June 2013 with remixes from label mates Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch. His debut EP, ''Hayden James'' was released on 30 August 2013. Since then, James has supported Disclosure and Odesza on their US and Australian tours. He has also played at major Australian music festivals Splendour in the Grass and Groovin The Moo. His single " Something About You" was released in December 2014 and was certified gold in Australia and has been streamed over 68 million times. ''The Music'', (formerly known as and now incorporating ''Drum Media)'', is an online Australian music magazine. It previously existed as a street press devoted to long-form music journalism and commentary, music news, and artist interviews. In its printed form, it was based in Sydney, NSW and distributed throughout Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Canberra, and surrounding areas. The magazine changed its name to ''The Music'' (incorporating Drum Media) in 2013, following the merge with two other magazines, Brisbane's ''Time Off'' and Melbourne's ''Inpress'', owned by Street Press Australia. In 2020 the print edition was paused. Drum Media ''Drum Media'' was founded in 1990 as a free weekly tabloid-sized music magazine (street press). The first issue of ''Drum Media'' appeared on 16 September 1990 with a distribution of 40,000 and featured Midnight Oil on the cover. Compact Disc
The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. In August 1982, the first compact disc was manufactured. It was then released in October 1982 in Japan and branded as ''Compact Disc Digital Audio, Digital Audio Compact Disc''. The format was later adapted (as CD-ROM) for general-purpose data storage. Several other formats were further derived, including write-once audio and data storage (CD-R), rewritable media (CD-RW), Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD), Photo CD, Picture CD, Compact Disc-Interactive (CD-i) and Enhanced Music CD. ITunes Store
The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. As of April 2020, iTunes offered 60 million songs, 2.2 million apps, 25,000 TV shows, and 65,000 films. When it opened, it was the only legal digital catalog of music to offer songs from all five major record labels. The iTunes Store is available on most Apple devices, including the Mac (inside the Music app), the iPhone, the iPad, the iPod touch, and the Apple TV, as well as on Windows (inside iTunes). Video purchases from the iTunes Store are viewable on the Apple TV app on Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices and certain smart televisions.
