Betty Komp
Betty E. Komp (born 1949) is a Democratic Party (United States), Democratic former member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 22 from 2004 until 2017. Early life Komp has previously worked as a farm hand, youth minister, teacher, and assistant principal. Despite being a single mom, Komp returned to college and earned her BS and MS in education from Western Oregon University. Personal life Komp has four daughters and six grandchildren. 2012 Oregon Legislative Election
The 2012 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses for the 77th Oregon Legislative Assembly. The Republican and Democratic primary elections were on May 15, 2012, and the general election was on November 6, 2012. Sixteen of the Oregon State Senate's 30 seats were up for election, as were all 60 seats of the Oregon House of Representatives. The 2014 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses of the state legislature for the 78th Oregon Legislative Assembly (2015–2016 term). The 2010 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses for the 76th Oregon Legislative Assembly. The Republican and Democratic primary elections were on May 18, 2010, and the general election was held on November 2, 2010. Sixteen of the Oregon State Senate's thirty seats were up for election, as were all 60 seats of the Oregon House of Representatives. Teresa Alonso Leon
Teresa Alonso Leon (born 1975) is an American Democratic politician who served in the Oregon House of Representatives for three terms from 2017 to 2023. She represented the 22nd district, which covers parts of Marion County along Interstate 5, from Woodburn down to northern Salem. Biography Alonso Leon was born in the Mexican state of Michoacán and moved to Gervais, Oregon at the age of 4. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Western Oregon University in 2002, and with a master's degree in Public Administration from Portland State University in 2013.
