Betsy Rosenberg
Betsy Rosenberg, born in August 1955, served as a CBS Radio News anchor in New York City from April 1988 till mid-1991. After starting the "Trash Talk" eco series on KCBS Radio in San Francisco (CA) on Earth Day 1997, she later hosted ''EcoTalk'' on Air America Radio. The program was broadcast every weeknight from 9 to 10pm Eastern Time. Its last program broadcast on 19 May 2007. Her new series, ''The Green Front'', later aired on Progressive Radio Network, an internet radio station. Since summer 2021. she has been leading with Jon Lake an effort to start Green TV (US), enhancing its Web site (www.greentv.com), and striving toward launching an online streaming service for "all green news and views, all the time," eventually intended it to operate 24-7. Air America Radio
Air America (formerly Air America Radio and Air America Media) was an radio in the United States, American radio network specializing in progressive talk radio. It was on the air from March 2004 to January 2010. The network was founded as a left wing alternative to counter talk radio with a right wing perspective. Air America featured programs with monologues by on-air personalities, guest interviews, call-ins from listeners, and news reports. Several shows had million plus audiences, and multiple weekday presenters continued on in radio, television, or politics after their time on Air America. For example, in 2008, ''The Thom Hartmann Program'' had 1.5–2 million unique listeners a week and ''Lionel (radio personality), The Lionel Show'' had 1.5–1.75 million unique listeners a week. Gary Michael Null (born January 6, 1945) is an American talk radio host and author who advocates pseudoscientific alternative medicine and produces a line of questionable dietary supplements. Null is hostile to evidence-based medicine and has accused the medical community of being in a cabal with the pharmaceutical industry to suppress novel treatments for economic gains. He has promoted a range of pseudo-scientific and ineffective alternative treatments, including ones for cancer. KCBS (740 kHz) is an all-news AM radio station located in San Francisco, California. It is owned by Audacy, Inc. (formerly Entercom), which took over after its merger with CBS Radio. KCBS is the Bay Area's only 24/7, live and local radio station. KCBS shares its Battery Street studios with CBS owned-and-operated television station KPIX-TV 5. The transmitter site is located in Novato. Its programming is simulcast on co-owned 106.9 KFRC-FM plus that station's HD1 digital sub-channel.
