Beston Chambeshi
Beston Chambeshi (born 4 April 1960) is a Zambian football coach and former player. Playing career Chambeshi played club football for Nkana. He represented Zambia at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Coaching career He coached Zambian club side Power Dynamos from 2012 to 2013. He became manager of the Zambian under-20 team in 2017, and managed them at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He combined his role with that of club side Nkana, and he won the 2017 FAZ Coach of the Year Award. In May 2018, following the resignation of Wedson Nyirenda, he was appointed interim manager of the Zambian senior team. He was replaced by Belgian manager Sven Vandenbroeck in July 2018. Sven Ludwig Vandenbroeck (born 22 September 1979) is a Belgian football coach and former player. Playing career Born in Vilvoorde, Vandenbroeck played as a defensive midfielder for Mechelen, Roda JC, De Graafschap, Akratitos, Lierse, Visé and Løv-Ham. Coaching career Vandenbroeck served as manager of Niki Volou, and assistant manager to Oud-Heverlee Leuven and the Cameroonian national team. Nkana is a section of the city of Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia which started off in the early part of the 20th century as a railway station to support the growing complex of copper mining operations. Wedson Nyirenda (born 23 November 1966) is a Zambian football manager and former player. Playing career Nyirenda played as a forward for Nchanga Rangers and Power Dynamos in the MTN/FAZ Super Division. In 1993, he played for Kaizer Chiefs.
