''Best of Times'' ( th, ความจำสั้น แต่รักฉันยาว, ) is a Thai romantic drama film directed by Yongyoot Thongkongtoon and released by GMM Tai Hub, GTH in 2009. Starring Arak Amornsupasiri, Yarinda Bunnag, Krissana Sreadthatamrong and Sansanee Wattananukul. Yongyoot Thongkongtoon ( th, ยงยุทธ ทองกองทุน; born February 18, 1967) is a Thai film director, producer, and screenwriter. He made his debut in 2000 with the sports comedy ''The Iron Ladies''. Biography Yongyoot Thongkongtoon graduated from Chulalongkorn University, with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts (Broadcasting), in Bangkok. His debut feature in 2000 was ''The Iron Ladies'', a fact-based sports comedy about a volleyball team of gay and transgender men. The film won several awards in Thailand and at film festivals, including the Thailand National Film Association Awards and a special mention Teddy Award at the 2001 Berlin Film Festival. This is a list of submissions to the 82nd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited the film industries of various countries to submit their best film for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film every year since the award was created in 1956. The award is handed out annually by the Academy to a feature-length motion picture produced outside the United States that contains primarily non-English dialogue. The Kingdom of Thailand has submitted films for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film since 1984, when it became the second independent nation in Southeast Asia to join the competition, after the Philippines.
