Pandora (singer)
Anneli Magnusson (born 20 June 1970 in Västerås), known by her stage names Pandora and United DJs vs. Pandora, is a Swedish Eurodance singer. She was most popular during the mid-1990s in the Nordic countries and in Asia and Australia in the end of 1990s to mid-2000s. Musical career Magnusson grew up with her family outside of Västerås. She learned to play the guitar at an early age. In her teenage years, Magnusson started performing on stage, playing acoustic versions of songs and she could also be seen with different bands, mostly singing rock covers. She was accepted into the musical college Carlforsska, and it was here where she met Henrik Andersson, Martin Ankelius and Peka P. known as Hit Vision. Hit Vision were looking for 'a girl with an attitude in her voice, someone who could sing their melodic dance music'. In 1993, Magnusson and Hit Vision moved to Stockholm and signed with Virgin Records. In October 1993, her debut single " Trust Me" was released under the arti ...

Tell The World (Pandora Song)
"Tell the World" is a song by Swedish singer Pandora. It was released in October 1994 as the lead single from her second studio album, '' Tell the World'' (1995). The single features an uncredited rap by M-Fuse and became Pandora's third top-5 single in Sweden, peaking at number 5 on the Swedish charts. Critical reception ''Music & Media'' wrote in their review, "Tell the world another talented Swedish singer has just stood up to be counted. The reggae set-up has Ace of Base cleverness, while the singing is ABBA-esque and the rapper is the finishing Euro touch." ''Manila Standard'' commented that "you are swept by the dizzying beat" of the song. Pandora (singer) Albums
In Greek mythology, Pandora (Greek: , derived from , ''pān'', i.e. "all" and , ''dōron'', i.e. "gift", thus "the all-endowed", "all-gifted" or "all-giving") was the first human woman created by Hephaestus on the instructions of Zeus. As Hesiod related it, each god cooperated by giving her unique gifts. Her other name—inscribed against her figure on a white-ground '' kylix'' in the British Museum—is Anesidora ( grc, Ἀνησιδώρα), "she who sends up gifts" (''up'' implying "from below" within the earth). The Pandora myth is a kind of theodicy, addressing the question of why there is evil in the world, according to which, Pandora opened a jar ('' pithos'') (commonly referred to as "Pandora's box") releasing all the evils of humanity. It has been argued that Hesiod's interpretation of Pandora's story went on to influence both Jewish and Christian theology and so perpetuated her bad reputation into the Renaissance. Later poets, dramatists, painters and sculptors made h ...

Compact Cassette
The Compact Cassette or Musicassette (MC), also commonly called the tape cassette, cassette tape, audio cassette, or simply tape or cassette, is an analog magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback. Invented by Lou Ottens and his team at the Dutch company Philips in 1963, Compact Cassettes come in two forms, either already containing content as a prerecorded cassette (''Musicassette''), or as a fully recordable "blank" cassette. Both forms have two sides and are reversible by the user. Although other tape cassette formats have also existed - for example the Microcassette - the generic term ''cassette tape'' is normally always used to refer to the Compact Cassette because of its ubiquity. Its uses have ranged from portable audio to home recording to data storage for early microcomputers; the Compact Cassette technology was originally designed for dictation machines, but improvements in fidelity led to it supplanting the stereo 8-track cartridge and reel ...

One Of Us (ABBA Song)
"One of Us" is a song by Swedish pop group ABBA. It was released in December 1981 as the lead single from the band's eighth studio album, '' The Visitors'' (1981). Background and release "One of Us"—which had the working titles "Number 1" and "Mio Amore"—was one of the last songs recorded for ABBA's 1981 album '' The Visitors'', and features a lead vocal by Agnetha Fältskog. It was one of a number of tracks that explored the darker territory of Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson's songwriting, as the two men's divorces were beginning to influence their musical output. The message of the song is about a woman trying to revive a relationship she had ended. Despite misgivings on the part of manager Stig Anderson, and its somewhat depressing lyric, "One of Us" was released as the first single from ''The Visitors'', coupled with the non-album track "Should I Laugh or Cry". Ulvaeus had favored releasing it as the first single from the new album, and the majority of the record comp ...
