Best Kept Secret (production Team)
Best Kept Secret is an American music production duo, composed of Grammy Nominated record producers Julian Nixon and Craig Balmoris. The duo met in 2006, during their time in high school. Former member Ernest " Tone P" Price was a part of Best Kept Secret from 2007 until 2009. Infusing go-go with hip hop, Best Kept Secret connected with fellow DC native, Wale , to produce the majority of his critically acclaimed mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing. They would later team up with Clarence "CJ" Mitchell aka "Flawless Tracks" to create one of the most popular SoundClick pages. Talib Kweli Greene (; born October 3, 1975) is an American rapper. He earned recognition early on through his collaboration with fellow Brooklyn rapper Mos Def in 1997, when they formed the group Black Star. Radric Delantic Davis (born February 12, 1980), known professionally as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. Pretty Girls (Wale Song)
"Pretty Girls" is the third official single from Wale's debut album, '' Attention Deficit'', and is produced by Best Kept Secret. It features Gucci Mane and Weensey from the go-go band Backyard Band. It was released to iTunes and Rhapsody on October 6, 2009. The song samples Backyard Band's go-go rendition of The Moments and The Whatnauts track "Girls" and contains a line of UCB's song "Splash Girl". The official remix featuring Chris Brown and Fabolous was released on April 13, 2010. A second remix features Weensey, Raheem DeVaughn, and Phil Ade. The music video was filmed in Los Angeles, California and was directed by Chris Robinson. ''Attention Deficit'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Wale. It was released on November 10, 2009, by Allido Records and Interscope Records. The production on the album was handled by multiple producers including Mark Ronson, Cool & Dre, The Neptunes, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and David Sitek among others.
