Mary McGuckian
Mary McGuckian (born 27 May 1963) is a film director, producer and screenwriter from Northern Ireland. Early life Born and brought up in Northern Ireland during The Troubles, McGuckian completed her formal education in the Republic of Ireland at Trinity College, Dublin (TCD), where she took a degree in engineering. It was during this time that she became involved with Trinity Players, appearing in many productions as well as producing, designing, directing and lighting various others. Career Her interest in theatre and politics led her to follow an autodidactic post graduate education in literature, theatre, acting and directing on various courses in London, Paris and Italy. During which time she wrote a number of avant-garde plays that were produced in England and Ireland. David Hayman (born 9 February 1948) is a Scottish film, television and stage actor and director, known for his role as DCS Mike Walker in ITV drama ''Trial & Retribution'', as Jonas Franks in BBC period drama '' The Paradise'' and as Brace in the drama ''Taboo''. Knowsley Road
Knowsley Road in Eccleston, St Helens, Merseyside, was the home ground of St. Helens from 1890 until its closure in 2010. St Helens Town FC played their home fixtures at Knowsley Road from 2002 until 2010. For a period, the venue also hosted Liverpool F.C. Reserves. The stadium was demolished during spring 2011 and a new construction then known as Cunningham Grange, named after club legend Keiron Cunningham, was built on the site. James Ellis (actor)
James Ellis (15 March 1931 – 8 March 2014) was a Northern Irish actor and theatre director, with a career stretching over sixty years. Originally a stage actor and director in his native Belfast, he moved to London in the early 1960s. After gaining recognition in Great Britain through the ''Z-Cars'' (1962–78) police series on BBC1, he appeared in many other television and film roles. He was also a translator.
