Beskid Andrychów
AKS Beskid Andrychów is a Polish football club from, Andrychów, Lesser Poland. The club name is derived from the Beskid Mountains. History The club was founded in 1919 under the name "KS Beskid Andrychów", as a multi-sports club. The club quickly changed its name to "KS Włókniarz Andrychów" whilst playing in the Kraków district league between 1951 and 1962. The following five seasons they played in the Third Division. In the 1953/54 season they reached the second round of the Polish Cup, beating Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski 4–1 in the first before being narrowly edged out 4–1 in a penalty shoot-out after a 3–3 draw against Zagłębie Sosnowiec. The club, which by 2001 already only had the football and volleyball sections left functioning, split and the football section changed its name to "TS Beskid Andrychów" whilst the volleyball section had been reformed as "MKS Andrychów". Andrychów ( la, Andrichovia, list=no, german: Andrichau, list=no, hist. also ''Andrychau'') is the largest town in Wadowice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. The town is located in the Little Beskids, in the historical region of Lesser Poland, on the river Wieprzówka. It has been situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999, having previously been located in the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship (1975–1998). Andrychów has an area of and as of December 2021 it has 19,524 inhabitants. History The settlement dates back to the late 13th century. Ekstraklasa
Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Contested by 18 clubs, operating a system of promotion and relegation with the I liga, seasons start in July, and end in May or June the following year. Teams play a total of 34 games each. ''Unia'' ( en, Dreams), released on 25 May 2007, is the fifth full-length studio album by the power metal band Sonata Arctica, following the album '' Reckoning Night''. The first single from the album was " Paid in Full", released on 27 April 2007. This is also the last album that features Jani Liimatainen, who was later replaced by Elias Viljanen after the album was released. The album was mixed at Finnvox Studios, and mastered at Cutting Room Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The album was also released as a limited edition noble book in 7" size (1000 copies), exclusively available via mailorder from Nuclear Blast records. KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski () is a Polish football club based in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland. It was founded on August 11, 1929. Ultras are a type of association football fans who are renowned for their fanatical support. The term originated in Italy, but is used worldwide to describe predominantly organised fans of association football teams. The behavioural tendency of ultras groups includes their use of flares (primarily in tifo choreography), vocal support in large groups and the displaying of banners at football stadiums, all of which are designed to create an atmosphere which encourages their own team and intimidates the opposing players and their supporters. The frequent use of elaborate displays in stadiums is also common. Adam Kokoszka (, born 6 October 1986) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Besides Poland, he has played in Italy and Russia. Club career His debut for Wisła Kraków came on 4 August 2006 against Arka Gdynia. On 28 July 2008 he signed a five-year contract with Empoli, using the Webster ruling to leave Wisla.
