Bert Slater
Robert Slater (5 May 1936 – 21 July 2006) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Slater played for Falkirk, Liverpool, Dundee and Watford during the 1950s and 1960s. He also played once for the Scotland under-23 team. Life and playing career Born in Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland, Slater started his career as a 17-year-old at Falkirk. He won a Scottish Cup winners medal in 1957 and made his debut in front of a 90,000 predominantly Rangers crowd. Liverpool signed him in exchange for Tommy Younger on 12 June 1959. He made his debut two months later at Ninian Park on 22 August, Cardiff City spoiled his day beaten the reds 3–2, Cardiff actually provided all 5 goals as City's Danny Malloy scored 2 own goals both being only 4 minutes apart. Eastville Stadium
Eastville Stadium, also known as Bristol Stadium and Bristol Stadium – Eastville, was a stadium in Eastville, a northern suburb of the English city of Bristol. Constructed in 1897, it was the home of Bristol Rovers F.C., the Bristol Bulldogs speedway team and was also a greyhound racing venue. During 1986 it was also the home of the short-lived Bristol Bombers American football team. Bob Shankly
Robert Fleming Blyth Shankly (25 February 1910 – 5 May 1982) was a professional football player and manager from the village of Glenbuck in Ayrshire, Scotland. He was the elder brother to Bill Shankly the former Liverpool manager. Bob Shankly is considered one of Dundee F.C. greatest managers for his achievements with the club and has been inducted into the club's Hall of Fame. Thomas Johnstone Lawrence (14 May 1940 – 10 January 2018) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Liverpool and Tranmere Rovers from the 1950s to the 1970s.
