Bernd Stelter
Bernd Stelter (born 19 April 1961 in Unna) is a German comedian, a writer and a television presenter. Life As a writer, Stelter has published several books. On German radio and television he has been working as comedian and presenter. In the Cologne Carnival he is renowned for his comedy and his songs. Stelter lives in Bornheim. Unna
Unna is a city of around 59,000 people in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the seat of the Unna district. The newly refurbished Unna station has trains to all major cities in North Rhine Westphalia including Dortmund, Cologne, Münster, Hamm, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. There is also the Regional-Express 7 (Rhein-Münsterland-Express), which runs from Rheine via Cologne to Krefeld. Geography Unna is situated on an ancient salt-trading route, the Westphalian Hellweg. Trade on this route and during the period of the Hanseatic League came from as far as London. The city is located at the eastern extremity of the Ruhr district, about east of the centre of Dortmund. Cologne Carnival
The Cologne Carnival (german: Kölner Karneval) is a carnival that takes place every year in Cologne, Germany. Traditionally, the "fifth season" (carnival season) is declared open at 11 minutes past 11 on the 11th of the 11th month November. The Carnival spirit is then temporarily suspended during the Advent and Christmas period, and picks up again in earnest after 6 January, Epiphany, in the New Year. The time of merrymaking in the streets is officially declared open at downtown square "Alter Markt" on the Thursday before the beginning of Lent. Street carnival, a week-long street festival, also called " the crazy days", takes place between Fat Thursday (') and Ash Wednesday ('). Bornheim ( Ripuarian: ''Bonnem'') is a town in the Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. 7 Tage, 7 Köpfe (''Sieben Tage, sieben Köpfe'', lit. ''Seven days, seven heads'') is a German comedy television program of the television station RTL Television and featured a humorous retrospective of the past week. The show was hosted by Jochen Busse. From 23 February 1996 the show was recorded every Friday in the afternoon to be broadcast in the evening, normally at 10:15 pm, on RTL. On 2 June 2005 it was announced that the show was to be discontinued at the end of 2005 due to declining audience ratings amongst other things. On 30 December 2005 the last show entitled "Das große Finale" ("The Grand Finale") was broadcast.
