Princess Bernardina Christina Sophia Of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach
Princess Bernhardina Christiana Sophia of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach (5 May 1724 in Weimar – 5 June 1757 in Rudolstadt), was a Princess of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach by birth and Princess of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt by marriage. Life She was a daughter of Ernest Augustus I, Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach (1688-1748) from his first marriage with Princess Eleonore Wilhelmine of Anhalt-Köthen (1696-1726), the daughter of Emmanuel Lebrecht, Prince of Anhalt-Köthen. She married on 19 November 1744 in Eisenach to John Frederick, Prince of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (1721-1767). The princess, who was described as particularly benevolent, acquired the ''Handwerkerhof'' in Rudolstadt in 1756 and founded the Bernardina Abbey for noblewomen in this building. Her coat of arms at the entrance to the building are a reminder of her. The building was extended to house six noblewomen. Berny Boxem-Lenferink
Bernardina Maria "Berny" Boxem-Lenferink (née Lenferink on 12 May 1948) is a retired Netherlands, Dutch middle-distance runner. She competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the 1500 metres event and finished in ninth place. She won a silver medal at the 1971 International Cross Country Championships. Biography Berny Lenferink was born to Wijlen Antonius Jan Lenferink and Wilhelmina Maria Boswerger in a family of nine siblings. She came to an athletics club following her elder sister Ans. In 1968, she competed in her first national championships, in the 800 m, and finished behind Ans, who won the bronze medal. During that race she broke a bone in her foot, which hindered her training through 1968–1969. On 23 December 1970, Lenferinke married Leo Boxem and changed her last name to Boxem-Lenferink.
