Bernard Ramanantsoa
Bernard Ramanantsoa (born 26 November 1948) was the Dean of HEC Paris between 1996 and 2015. Ramanantsoa is the nephew of Gabriel Ramanantsoa, former President of Madagascar. He and his two children are HEC Paris alumni. He will leave his position in 2015. The Bilderberg meeting (also known as the Bilderberg Group) is an annual off-the-record conference established in 1954 to foster dialogue between Europe and North America. The group's agenda, originally to prevent another world war, is now defined as bolstering a consensus around free market Western capitalism and its interests around the globe. Participants include political leaders, experts, captains of industry, finance, academia, numbering between 120 and 150. Attendees are entitled to use information gained at meetings, but not attribute it to a named speaker (known as the Chatham House Rule). Peter Todd
Peter Todd (born 1962) is a Canadian professor and academic administrator. He was the dean of McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management from 2005 to 2014. From July 2015 to October 2020, he has served as the director of HEC Paris. Early life Peter Todd was born in 1962 in Canada. He graduated from McGill University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in commerce, finance and information systems. He subsequently earned a PhD in business administration from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Career Todd was a professor of business administration at Queen's University from 1989 to 1997. He was a professor and associate dean at the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business from 1997 to 2001, and associate dean of graduate programs at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce from 2002 to 2005. Gabriel Ramanantsoa
Gabriel Ramanantsoa (13 April 1906 Antananarivo – 9 May 1979 Paris) was the President and Prime Minister of Madagascar from 1972 to 1975. Ramanantsoa was a member of the Merina ethnic group, and came from a wealthy family. He graduated from Saint-Cyr in 1931. He was a career officer in the French army. After Madagascar became independent, he joined the Madagascar military, rising to the rank of Major General. In May 1972, amidst massive political protests, he became prime minister of the country with tacit French backing, and President Philibert Tsiranana vested him with full executive powers. Tsiranana resigned altogether on October 11, 1972 following a referendum that approved a five-year transition period under military leadership, and Ramanantsoa became president as well. He tried to start political reconciliation.
